Flash

This page is dedicated to all of my Flash projects. You have to love 2D animation. If you don't have Flash Player, you are going to need to download it to see these videos. You can find the download here. It's quick and free. To view any of the animations, just click on the image.

This one is the first animation that I ever made. It's 15 frames, hand animated. Short and sweet.

This next animation was another hand animated one, but this has more of a purpose and a little bit of interactivity in it. To watch the whole thing just click "PLAYBALL" when it comes up.

This next animation was a study on squash and stretch. We were supposed to make some sort of bouncing ball animation, but I chose a different yet effective approach. Watch and see, then go eat some brains. Ok, so maybe a headless zombie can't exist, but a kid has to dream.

For this animation I had to create a simulation of a themed game of pong. You'll see how it turned out. I wish I knew the coding to make it into a real game...maybe I will in the future.

For this project I had to make an interactive scene. There are four different things to click on here, so have fun with it.

For this project I made a music video to the song Robot Parade by They Might Be Giants. It was a very daunting task, and took me around 30 hours to complete. There are a lot of things that I would fix on it if I had more time, but I think it's good enough.

This project was to create a dancing figure that had five moves, three backgrounds, and three songs that you could change in real-time using buttons. The songs I used are Kung Fu Fighting, Eye Of The Tiger, and Highway To The Dangerzone. I figured they kind of fit with the animation. Oh yeah, ninjas rule. Upon further inspection I have come to realize that this video has a few complications with load time. At first it seems like it isn't working right, but actually it is just taking a while for the external movies and songs to load up so give it a few minutes to start working properly.

This one might be my proudest Flash project to date. This is a game that I created. There are a lot of odd things about it but consiering the amount of time and effort it took to create it, I think it's a really good project. Kind of fun, but a little repetitive. If you want to know the controls without reading, here they are: move left and right with the A and D keys and fire with the left mouse button. Have fun saving the world.
